Melissa Villalpando

Melissa Villalpando dedicated her life to serving others. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Melissa led by example with a “get it done” attitude that could have boosted anyone’s spirits. Melissa loved her job and put in several hours a week, although busy with work she still found time to help others.

One of her many passions was helping catholic schools. Her main reason was to help out the kids. She always encouraged her daughter to pursue a higher education and MVMSF want her wishes to extend toward others.

Melissa once gave a personal testimony during a Women’s ACTS retreat. A quote taken from a passage is the message we want to pass on to others. “Providing service to family, community and church is important. Don’t provide service to get recognition, awards, or titles. Serve from the heart, serve with love. Giving of your time, talent or treasure doesn’t have to take a lot of time or money but it does make a difference to the people you serve and to the way you feel.”

Melissa's family will continue to honor her memory in this way by working with catholic schools to help educate the coming generations about the importance of service and involvement.
